Course Description

This comprehensive, evidence-based course is specifically designed to enhance the diagnostic and surgical capabilities of practicing oral and maxillofacial surgeons and those preparing for board certification. Through a deep dive into critical pathological entities and contemporary treatment modalities, participants will develop increased clinical confidence and readiness for advanced patient care.

Topics include but are not limited to odontogenic cysts and tumors, oral and oropharyngeal cancers, osteoradionecrosis, medication-related osteonecrosis of the jaw (MRONJ), jaw reconstruction (hard and soft tissue techniques), salivary gland neoplasms, benign and malignant bone tumors, fibro-osseous lesions, osteomyelitis, and complex oral infections.

This course has proven invaluable to clinicians seeking to update their clinical protocols and sharpen their interpretive and surgical skills. It is also highly regarded by residents and diploma candidates preparing for written and oral board examinations. While the course is not affiliated with the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery or any certifying body, it is structured to complement formal board preparation efforts and continuing education standards.
